p.s. Fun Fact: Expired license plates are great for patching holes in the floor - Typically under the driver's feet (because of the salt was tracked in). The vehicles were too rusted to properly repair. We just wanted to get one more inspection.

These pictures show the Dino as found. It was sold at auction for £132,250 in this condition back in 2014.

 

Someone overpaid for it!

 

How the hell would it get so full of rust without being under water?

There is a history of people paying over the odds for high end cars needing total restoration. At the time, good condition Dinos were going for £300k, so it wasn’t that much over.

39 years untouched in a leaky garage. From the B-pillar back, the car was in decent condition.

I can fix that with JB Weld, a couple of deck screws and emory cloth.
