Kinda artsy 3W pix.....new custom hubcaps!!

Heres are some pix I took the other day of my Deuce after I fitted the 16" cone style hubcaps.

Man they just look so right on the Deuce - they are similar to the 57 Plym caps but slightly different and are fit my steelies real well. You can see in the side shot how much the cone protrudes from the wheel/tire combo.

I scored these off Aussie Steve some time ago here on the HAMB. They came in the Hollywood Hubcap Co box circa 1957, were wrapped in 1961 newspapers (yeah!!) and were in primo/new condition - as far as I can tell they had never been on a car. So it felt real good to finally put em on a car after nearly 50 yrs.

Anyone know anything else about the Hollywood Hubcap Co?

That is a definite improvement to a car that couldn't be improved!

 

Thanx for the kid words - yeah ove the way they look on the Deuce. Feel that they give it more of a late 50's feel with those caps.
