Can you powder coat to look like br*** or copper? Does it look like it's supposed to? Is actually plating with br*** or copper any less durable? What about cost? Thank you
Powder coat is available in metallic finishes but it looks alot more like paint than it does a polished, plated surface. Copper or br*** will tarnish pretty easily and requires maintainance (just ask anybody with an old boat) there is a plated finish that I've seen that the guy called "marine br***" . It was a cross between a gold color and a br*** color, it looked pretty good. You might ask your plater about it.
