haha..I’m half ashamed to say, it’s on the other side..yeah, with the brake pedal. I had this running tr7 engine on the workbench so I tossed it in this bike until I rebuild the 650.. times are tuff but I gotta keep moving
Very neat, thanks for sharing. Am I seeing a muffler on top of the muffler with some crossover tubes between them?
If you look at the top "muffler" you can see a sort of fishtail end. I cannot see the bottom "muffler" end. I do see two crossover tubes so I would make the assumption that the bottom tube transfers to the top tube and exits there. Keep in mind that we are talking about 1929/30 technology here. I think that I have more pictures so let me dig deeper for a definitive answer. Good eye guys.
Okay, I checked, and both chambers have exits, so I guess that it was to make the exhaust exit more rapidly. It a Harley 1930, Model 30 C.
That board track museum exhibit up there maybe ain't too realistic. You can see splinters in the old photos.
