Last night I woke up thinking my niece's wedding (#3) is in September. Nope, I'm safe. Looking forward to seeing you guys.

 

She'd have to reschedule lol....

 

I'd just have to wait till marriage #4. Entirely possible with this chick.

Only thing I wanna mention is that i tried to repair the restrooms at the park. It didn't happen. Due to vandalism, someone destroyed the sheetrock to steal the copper, and they smashed the toilets, sinks, etc. No big deal, I was gonna pay to redo all of it out of my pocket. Then I discovered that the water district has removed the water meter and filled the housing full of gravel. Then come to find out, there never was a proper septic system installed all of those years ago. So it's gonna be me renting a porta potty again. I apologize.

 

Well that sucks about the vandalism & the fact that it didn't have a proper septic system anyway! Sorry that you will have the expense of the Porta-Potty, but there is nothing wrong with them if you start with a clean one & our group is basically the only folks using it! We all might be a lot of things, but none of us are going to mess it up!

Love the fact that you called it sheetrock! LOL Started making trips down south in 1983 & got to know a bunch of guys as I was down there every other week. I heard somebody say "sheetrock" & had to ask....WTF is sheetrock?? One of them says...If you weren't a Damn Yankee you would know that is the true name of what you call Drywall!

Everybody get their sh1t together & make plans to attend! There is no better group of folks you will ever spend a few days with!!!!!

Sorry, not going to make it this year either. A $10G+ and still counting sewer replacement from the curb to the toilets into my house has put a kink into a lot of planned stuff for this year.
