I'm not even sure what all the different body types are called. What are the ones that kind of look like a Vicky with a convertible top?
Great video. Thanks. Those cars were hardly more than 25 years old. But the engineering and the styling had changed so dramatically, they were already very collectible.
Noticed they had "Trailer Queens" even back then, pulled with something other than Fords. And so far, I haven't seen anyone sitting on a lawn chair behind a car, they're all up and walking around .
A-400? Well that's a rather drab and unimaginative name, isn't it? Even when compared to models like Sports Coupe or Tudor. The A-400 would seem to have been at least a slightly upscale model.
No gray hair, no chairs, no cell phones, no hot rods and all model A's, Time changes everything, the average hot rodder or custom fans are much older. HRP
Hotrodprimer, right you are about times changing. I'm a pack rat and save everything. My first year going to HERSHEY was 1968 and I have the program and there are over 200 Model A Ford's listed for the show field. Last year there were about 10 total. Where the heck did all the Model A's disappear to?
