In my opinion, the best name for a front engined AA/FD , ever!

As a kid I always liked Willie’s Pie Wagon and Johnny Loper’s Lil Hoss. Both Anglias (Thames).
Seen around LA years ago was a sedan delivery lettered with; Miracle Pies - if it’s a good pie, it’s a Miracle.

May be a little bit OT (but there is a race number on the grid ;)) but I really love this one.
Every time I see this picture, I remember Stirling Moss, who I was chatting with on the pre-grid at the Goodwood Festival of Speed (where he was still racing the hill climb even though he was old and a bit tired) when a man asked him why he was still doing that.
He laughed and replied "for the girls of course!".
His wife, who was also there, laughed even harder :p upload_2025-7-20_10-42-20.png

This is my cousin, Russell and his "girl friend of the week", he had pretty good luck with the ladies although not so much with the ones he married:( My uncle told the story of driving down main street in Atlantic Iowa (population about 7500) and while stopped at the traffic light a sweet young thing opened the door to the "Smooch Shop" and jumped in. She was as surprised as he was, she thought it was Russell, Uncle Billy wasn't quite who she was interested in. RIP Russell and Uncle Billy. Billy loved telling that story.
No picture but at about the same time there was a early 50's Chevy with "Six Hot Holes" on the side. Seemed a little risque to a 14 ? year old kid at the time:)

Can say what it is on, here, but it had dual wheels and four and a half doors and a ton of Smokey horsepower and could pull a 45 foot gooseneck trailer loaded with Harley’s at 100mph!
It had “ Poison Okie” painted on it door!

My favorite was always ""The Scag", Bob McGinley's '32 CA that ran at Minnesota Dragways in the early 60's.
    The Scag.jpg

Unfortunately, the impact of the whole thing has been ruined by the fact that "The Scag" has a remarkable resemblance to the character "Rocky Dennis" from the movie "Mask" that starred Sam Elliott and Cher. This ruins the whole effect. I'll bet most people these days don't even remember the term or it's meaning. The supreme insult to any pubescent high school girl.
