The highlight of the show in my opinion and the reason I went, was this traditional appearing 51 Mercury. Recent build by a relatively young guy that owns an auto wrecking yard, introduced to the hobby by his Dad and owns numerous cars. Seemed like a nice guy living life, here are some pictures.

Thanks Mr. Dollarshort. I can barely read the sign. 1931 Olds? Almost looked like a Plymouth to me. So a coupe or a sedan turned into a pickup truck? Individual taste to be sure. But I happen to think that building a pickup truck is about the best thing you can do with most of the sedans, especially the 4drs. I'd probably do a different paint scheme, but it looks to be fairly well built.
