68? Love it. One of my favorite eras of GM pickup.

It started out as a 72 3/4 ton highly optioned with a 402. I found a shortbed chassis and a 67 front clip . The bed is a repro 67. So basically its like a Johnny Cash Cadillac..

In case anyone was wondering it will be one color like the bed... 1972 medium olive poly with satin clear. The Cal Trans doors were just too nice not to install.

Turned out great! I am a big fan of these swb pickups these years. I am especially fond of the 67/68's and have had several as daily driver's over the years. Yours is too cool!

Been a bit of a transition going from my 56 that I daily drove for 14 years with a fairly hot sbc with a 5 spd and nothing other than power steering to a truck with PS ,AC , AT, overdrive, and bluetooth stereo... It drives like a new truck but the Rat is a bit thirsty....I need to bump the MPG up from 11... 13 will satisfy me. And yes Johnny I've been absent but busy...
