Event Coverage Minnetonka drive in 7/24/25

Is this the coupe that was built for Paul T. of American Choppers? Sweet looking ride regardless.

 

Brian setzer is a nice guy. Years ago my dad had a business called Palmdale Auto electric and speedometer and brian came in with his chopped mercury for some type of electrical problems when I was a kid. I showed up at the shop when it was there And me and my dad got to go around the block in it to the liquor store , it was pretty cool. He signed a picture of the band and my dad had it up on the wall for years. This must have been the nineties.

 

In a weird sort of way that front end treatment works on that '56 Chevy convertible.

 

@Moriarity , the long haired bum behind Brian S in your car...is another old friend of mine! Now in Kansas, I have to follow your drive inn post to see old friends!

Mark, next time you see Mr. Setzer, tell him that the brothers who welded his coupe body together are big fans of his (and yours), and live in the middle of Iowa. Somewhere I still have the cassette of Built for Speed that I bought when it first came out.
