GOOD GUYS 37th PNW NATIONALS

You heard it right. My wife got the deets. But basically a guy lost bus temper, and as a result he hit three cars and a building. He sure showered them!

 

We meet the nicest people from Nebraska that came out for Deuce Days and stuck around for Good Guys.

Speaking of meeting nice folks, meet this next gent cleaning up his roadster. Gary Beck. Lots of seat time in fast cars. I asked him I’d he could handle that much engine in a little roadster, I think he can.

How neat for you to see Gary Beck. 2-time NHRA world champion in top fuel!

 

Great coverage- very Moriarity-esque with the front and rear 3/4 views interior and engine or for sale sign as required. Your efforts are not lost on me. Good line with the donuts too. Thanks from those of us that will likely never be able to take it in.

 

I love 36 fords. I really need a 36 roadster in my life. Here are some 36s from today’s walkabout.

Just Fantastic shots BB. I'm sitt'n on my **** wonder'n how many great cars are not there that should be? (you know what I mean period/ no question mark)

Great photos and some nifty cars. I'd say a number of those 32s hung around the pnw for the past few days and hit Goodguys.

 

I got a good parking spot this morning up close to the front of the parking lot, across from the blue gate. Arrived there at 7:55 AM, right before gates opened up, perfect timing!

The weather was perfect with slight overcast and very comfortable moderate temperatures!

These 72 year old feet walked all over the entire grounds and the mighty Nikon shot 396 pictures and I lasted till about 2:30PM.
I went over to see my friend John Harwood where his 36 Ford was parked in the Sillyville area, I said, well I have seen it all and had a great time, but the feet are in charge at this point, so it's time to go!

Since I was already this far south, aside from being immersed in great cars and trucks and hot rods, it was time to treat myself to a triple cheese burger and fries and a 16 oz Green River with an extra shot of syrup down at my favorite cl***ic burger joint,
" PICK QUICK " in Fife Washington!

The quality is still very high as its always been for decades!

Made it back home after traffic in Seattle at about 5:30 PM.
Got a nap and now I will download all of the pictures and sit and edit and crop the photos and the post them on the HAMB,

Yeah, I’d say. Never seen so many 32 fords and most of those roadsters! I talked to people from all over the nation Never seen Minnesota plates in our coast before.

I’m sorry I missed you. I got in 13000 steps yesterday. The highest number I saw was 3016 and they were all there yesterday. It was packed! An all day, bumper to bumper parade of cars. The g***er set was a hit. 10 or so blown cars, several Willys kept orbiting to the delight of the crowd.

A lot of cars with headers dumping down outside the cowl made life filthy when they came by, kicking up dust and gravel from all the construction. That was annoying. But for the most part, popping a squat under a tree and watching/listening/smelling the cars made for a pleasant summers day.

 

Taking a slow morning, checking out of the Best Western before heading to the fair grounds. Found a couple I may not have posted, if I have…deal.

 

There was this truck, simply gorgeous. It rolled by a few times, never got to chat up the owner.

We would always attend Thursday-Saturday for the Goodguys shows and start heading home Sunday.
