This is a great show, huge turn out of pre 65 vehicles, great nostalgic themed location, food, and bands. The place has a vintage gas station that doubles as the entrance, a general store, (with full bar), numerous out buildings and barns with old school black and white hot rod movies being played on a projector, swap meet, band stand, etc,...all decorated with as much vintage automobilia you can find all over the grounds. There's also a bed and breakfast on the property, and don't forget the farm animals.
Q: do we have a 2025 date & site? thanks sid oops; found it: Hot Rod Hootenanny at the Farm – Marlborough, CT | CarCruiseFinder

I went to this years show, as I always do. While the amount, variety, and quality of cars and trucks there was impressive as always, I was disappointed at the location. The appeal and charm of the Farm at Carter Hill included a vintage, authentic gas station with old pumps and decor you had to drive by to get in, a general store full of automobilia that doubled as an actual bar for "refreshments", a bed and breakfast old time house that served hot food from their kitchen, a barn covered with vintage auto and gasoline related signs, another barn with an upper level where you can watch old reel to reel hot rod black and white movies, and restored gas pumps, Coca Cola coolers and machines, an outdoor bar in the middle with a motorcycle theme that had an actual motorcycle propped up in it,...etc,....etc...etc....they also had a sheep and goat enclosure with a huge bridge they could climb on when they weren't eating leaves out of your hands, along with chickens and pheasants. It was like traveling back in time there. Well, now the owners have decided a wedding venue event center is what this place needs to be. All the signs are gone from the barns and other buildings, no more random gas pumps and Coke machines. No food being served from the window of the bed and breakfast, no motorcycle themed bar, everything cleaned up so instead of looking like and old fashion town, their grounds were manicured with new sod, and gravel paths, and the animals and their enclosure are gone to give way for more wedding parking, (so much for the farm aspect of the place) and there were no old time hot rod films playing either. Just disappointing to say the least, and makes you wonder if that location will still be available in the future for this cool show.
