Event Coverage 2025 Bonneville Speed Week

Not to race but am thinking seriously about dropping my wife off in Wendell Idaho for a few days to get some grandma time and heading to Bonneville for that time. The real issue is a dog sitter and getting my son in law to feed the cats. Wife's anti social dog has to go to daycare. We aren't going to Deuce days this week so I am not blowing that 2000 bucks and Bonneville can be fairly inexpensive to play spectator at if you have a sleeping bag and air mattress or camper pad .

 

Fired up the roadster this weekend with the new engine combo.

We'll be there with our OT Salt-eh Racing B/MMP running a smaller engine but looking go faster than the C engine we had last year and shooting to top 200mph

Yup, missing a couple letters, not to mention there there's an error as there isn't a "B" engine cl*** in the mini pickups. Should have been D/BGMMP, or D/BFMMP haven't committed to G or F yet.

Getting closer. Weather looks hot and dry. Can almost feel the salt in my flip flops. See everyone at the nugget FRIDAY possibly SATURDAY!

 

Good luck to everyone at Speedweek! Looks now like we won't be going this year. Hit the dyno today for a final tune on the new engine and seems our ECU has decided it doesn't want to play nice. Tired of fighting with this engine management system, ordered a Holley Terminator X for the LS today, finger crossed we get a World of Speed!

I'm heading out for the salt tomorrow morning. Not bringing a hot rod this year, which is kind of a bummer, but oh well.

Made it to the salt? More like a mix of salt and mud..... kind of a brown tint.
