I’m looking for a set of cab mounts for a 1961 unibody project. Currently I can’t find any in stock. Does anyone have the dimensions, as I could fabricate my own just need some measurements
    Any help would be appreciated
    Thanks

Yeah might be a bit overkill but I really hate to have to go back and fix things I didn’t build strong enough :)

I got mine from Carolina cl***ics, he was out but it wasn't too long before he had them stocked. he told me in an email that he made them in house and worked on them at night...evidently too much "activity" in the business during the day to do so.
I did not measure mine, sorry. What I had considered doing was using the picture in this link (https://carolina-cl***ics.com/collections/1962-parts/products/cab-front-floor-support-mounts-1961-64) and then extrapolating from the measurements I could make with what was left (no much). I jacked up the front corners to get them into "about" the right position to cut the junk out. The example @Wanderlust showed looked pretty substantial. When I ordered the rubber parts they come in a kit that would service the rear cab mount in a non unibody, I went ahead and fabricated a rear cab mount. I had to rebuild a lot of the floor and body structure and I suspect you are where I was a few months ago. This link is from the Ford Truck Enthusiast that you may find helpful. Slick 62 (me) asked some of the later questions. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum267/

Same for the torque box, only fixed the one in the cab, the one under the front of the box I left as I intended to replace the bed floor, well 4 years on that hasn’t happened  IMG_0615.jpeg IMG_0629.jpeg IMG_0640.jpeg

I replaced the front mounts on my 62 much the same as above. Box tube and diagonal gussets.
This was long ago before re pop mounts were made. Don't have to worry about them rusting out again in my lifetime

@Wanderlust your cab was worse than mine, I thought my Studebaker was a rust bucket but this old truck is forcing me to learn to skills. Nice job!!

Really do hope we’ve not scared the op off, these trucks can be more work than they appear initially but I sure don’t regret doing it, while not rare they’re not common either.
