Hi all, went to a local car show last weekend. Not too many of our cars there but a few that looked good. I didn't drive my 55 this year but took my Studebaker instead, please forgive me! Some pretty nice cars in that area. My brother could have drove his '54 gl***top from Dallas, it's only 30 miles. I guess he didn't hear about it.

More mid 50’s Fords than I can see in a typical car show here in SoCal with 200+ cars….great!

I live just outside of Dallas in Rickreall, people even here in Oregon have never heard of Dallas or Rickreall. I am in a car club called the Willamette Valley Street Rods and we post a list of local events on our website at wvsr.org . One biggie that is coming up for the Ford community is the all ford picnic at Champoeg Park on August 10th. Great show in a really nice state park. I guess I should also pitch our club show the Carousel Cruise at the waterfront park in Salem on August 30th. It has had up to 400 cars in the past. I don't think I have ever seen your brothers 54 gl***top in Dallas, I have lived here for 30+years and thought I knew where all the old Ford lived!

One other thing, anyone else have any heartburn over LED headlights like the ones in the white 57? They look like someone broke the gl*** headlights and left the broken ones in there. To me they look just wrong on old cars not to mention they are damn annoying when you are driving at night. Yes, I am old, GET OFF MY LAWN! Mark

Really liked the 54 (Guess why). Stude looks good too.

I put 6 volt LED headlights in mine. They don't look that different to me. I haven't driven at night yet.

I'll alert my brother to the Willamette Valley Street Rods wvsr.org I think the last show he entered was in Falls City last year.

I just looked at your website. My grand daughter worked at Pietro's up until May, then came to live with us in TX. She says she was working as the cashier on many occasions when the club met.

Pietros has been our get together spot for decades except during covid. I probably talked to your granddaughter more than once!

I don't care for the look. Not my car not my heartburn ;)
