Oh I know, my Grandparents on Dad’s side didn’t ever fight, but were constantly bitching at each other. They had a sign that said “Love is Spoken Here” in their living room. It was ironic. Whenever guys at work start giving each other shit, that’s what I say. Kinda like “Where’s your sense of adventure “.

 

Grandmom had a sign in the house, in German, ''We get to soon old & to late smart''.

By now you probably have realized that they call it retirement because by the time you get the stuff done you were putting off until retirement, at the end of the day you’ll be tired and tomorrow will be more of the same and then you’ll realize you are retired.
As for no downtown in Kentucky, I had my share of misadventures below the border as a young man. I hated driving across the bridge into Kentucky. All of the citizens re-entering the country had to stop and hand their shoes down to their kinfolk trying to enter Ohio. The traffic was always backed up both ways. And I was told it was called a country and not a state because they only had country and way out in the country. The only people in cities were revenuers and misfits.


Edit: Lloyd hopefully knows he has my utmost respect which is why there was no mention of any B word from this nut.
