I don't know who's posting this crap, but the car didn't go anywhere near 300 mph. According to their own post, Chico's roadster went 230 mph when Gene was sent on his journey...

 

Dust in the wind...I understand he made several spiritual passes...very fitting really...3 window Larry comes to mind. I'll bet there's a whole lot of that spirit around the Tracks in North America...Godspeed indeed...gotta be heartfelt by those doing the distributing and even those up close and personal...

Mebbe the poster confused miles and kilometres? 230mph is 370km/h, close enough to what they posted.

In any case, a fitting send off for an incredible person.
