$49,5000 is a deal? That is half of I what a make a year with overtime! I and most working people would have to take out a loan or find a corporate sponsor to buy that car. I guess if you are retired form a job with a pension and your house is paid off it's a deal.
C'mon you've gotta use a little context here. I'm not talking about every day car guys here....of which I'm proud to say I'm one....no way I could afford it. I'm talking about folks with the means to buy a famous original hot rod with provenance and the funds to restore it.....preserving some hot rod history. In this day and age, I think we're all in favor of that.
Just saying its a deal of a life time. Certainly not everyone here on the HAMB could step up and go for this roadster or would want it if there not into preservation and history but at the going asking price its a heck of a deal. Looking at the cost for a decent late model car or truck some are well over 50K and and new rides are north of that easily so the asking price for this piece of history is actually well under market price.
