Darren and wife Debbie celebrating the shop now being going 10 years.Darren was raised in a hot rod family, with dad Rod being a long time rodder, so his son was bound to follow. Darren was on a different career path initially and was a Bank Manager, but still involved in building cars with his Dad and for himself. He made the decision then to leave banking and open his shop full-time. He now has many builds to his credit and business is doing very well. As time progressed his wife decided to move into upholstery and was self-taught but now produces many excellent show winning trim jobs. I have been using Darren now for a few years, starting with my roadster that needed attention after 11 years on the road. We dumped the old Ford binders on the front and replaced with Lincoln style, and the transverse leaf was changed out for Viking coil overs. Many other tasks undertaken and now he has worked on my 48 Hudson custom with full engine rebuild amongst other things and then my Riviera that needed the same attention. So today was a celebration of the success he has achieved over 10 years. Now onto some pictures. Many of the cars there were built by Darren and his team. My channeled gold 32 roadster appears in this spread.
Some more. My 48 Hudson custom also appears in this lot. It is in the shop for some updates and we just got the rechromed front bumper back on and a little more work to be sone before it comes home.
Thank You @hudson48 All great looking cars. That 5 window Deuce near the top is an unusual tone of red.
