These cars appear to be a couple of the later models of the National Automobile Company, from Indianapolis. An earlier model won the second Indianapolis 500 in 1912. This picture appears to maybe have been taken at National's factory, repurposed and still standing in central Indianapolis.

Our local Ford dealer, Hampstead Motors. They sponsored my Dad when he was racing S/S in 1961 & 1962. It was recently torn down and replaced with a Dollar General. Hampstead Motors.jpg

Everyone a 2 door….I’d take them all right now especially the business coupe and the ranch wagon. White walls on the business coupe would be a little different even the 2 tone paint option. I possibly see a glint of a a 272 V8 emblem on the front fender.

Seems a bit odd though, that the dealer's name doesn't appear anywhere on the building.

Probably a brand new showroom. It looks like they haven’t sodded their lawn yet.

Looking back at that picture again the grilles and side moldings on a couple of these cars don't look familiar to me. Maybe this isn't even a U.S. dealership. . .

  26. With the tire tracks, I think that was to be a future paved parking area as there is no walk at the door.
