I recently bought this 55 bird . Have engine history from 1964 , artist concept drawing , finished car. Would love to know who customized it . And pictures in it's heyday ! The owner was from north Hollywood in 1964 . Have You Seen This Car ? Looks like they used 1956 Lincoln mark 5 head light sections , I love it !

Very cool 'bird. I'm looking forward to seeing your progress toward restoration and completion.

Can't say that I've seen it in any old magazines, but sure do like the looks of it.
It should be cool to see you resurrect it.

It's really a sharp bird , rust free , was a street and strip car , had tow tabs on front . has a 406 tripower in it too DSCN9460.JPG

Seen the 3 louvre trim somewhere. The headlights look like the Mk II Cont treatment that R&C did on a new Bird.
    I'd better get the '55 - '56 R&Cs out.

The drawing was well done, I'd make a photocopy and then frame the copy and hang it on the garage wall (keep the original in a folder away from damage). You do need to lose the wheels, though. ;) The 406 is cool, what transmission is behind it? I'm guessing it's an automatic but a stick would be nice.
