i know its not really a traditional, but its what i got to work with right now.. im building it for more of a daily driver...
it started life as a 94 intercepter caprice police car. i drove it for a while til i almost ripped the roof off and liked the car so much i couldnt get rid of it.. i found the body witch as you can tell is rough in a junk yard.. and ive tring to graft the two together ever since.

    thanks for looking

i personally like it alot. shorten the frame or whatever to make the bed and came meet up otherwise its cool as ****. you will have decent fuel economy and plenty of power. id keep the dodge too. its different and as far as i'm concerned different is GOOD!

    thank you,
i shortened the frame 8" and narrowed it 2.5" boxed it and put in a crossmember.. the bed is junk, in that pic if you look close the front is cut off (its just on there for fitment).. i think im going to put a 54 chevy car grill in it, chop the top 4,6 or 8" and do a 4" section, it doesnt need lower at stock cprice ride height the front end is about 5" from the ground.. the floors are steel diamond plate.. ive been thinking about putting 57 chevy pu headlight brows on.. but this ones just for fun so we'll see..

    thanks again

    thanks again,

Let me know if you've got any questions on the Caprice side of things. I know...um...a little bit...about them.

    Looking good,

55-56 Ford car headlight rings may work and save you some time they are kinda visor'ed / brow'ed.

Mount them to the side of the frame or in the wheel well. Maybe ahead of the tire.

I dunno man, the holes drilled in that shifter are going to compromise the strength of it. There's some guys on here that can model the stresses on it and tell you the weak points. :D

    Looks cool so far!!

i thought about doing that, but the lines are all ready ran (not that thats a big deall to run new one its just a h***el that i am trying to a void.. the other thing is that when you look at the truck straight in the front you can see the frame rails and the ugly rad support... i thought about puting a piese of stainless sheetmetal in the entire grill opening and putting a bunch of 3" holes in, kinda like some g***ers..

    thanks,
    harmon
