This pic popped up on Hop Up Magazines feed, taken in Denmark. It looks factory or coach built rather than a custom. Anyone able to identify it.
Was purchased at Ford in Randers on July 7, 1937 as a 4-door sedan. Was completely destroyed in a fatal accident in December 1945. The remains were taken to Sofus Nellemann in Randers, where his son Robert Nellemann chose to rebuild it completely with a new special bodywork partly in aluminum clad on a wooden frame. Raced in dirt track races in 1946-1947-1948 and 1949. Among others at Jysk Motorbane near Hobro. After that, it was put in a corner, and had different owners in the following years At the end of the 1950s, it ended up in a scrapyard, changing owners again to different scrapyards. It was in really bad condition when it was "rescued" in the late 1990s. A Swede - Janne Ryden - bought the remains and restored it to the fantastic condition it is in today. An incredible and fantastic job. The car is now owned by a happy owner in Randers.
That is cool looking, and quite a story. It’s a wonder it survived all those years without getting destroyed.
Cool article about the history of this car with lots of photos - pages 10 - 23. Unfortunately its not in English. https://veteranbilklub.dk/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/VT-juni-2006.pdf
