Technical What application is this dash clock?

Found this in an old house. I searched quite a bit with no luck. I figured someone here will know.

 

Probably off a stove or oven.

could be I suppose. Never thought of that. I'll get a pic of the back in a bit.

 

If it were for an appliance there would need to be an adjustment peg on the front. This is obviously on the back, glove box clock would make sense so one could access the adjuster.

 

Looks Buick to me.
