Hey guys, sometimes during lunch or break, I get on here and browse around. I see some questions about part numbers for our brakes, so I thought I’d put together this list to help out.

    Left front wheel cylinder: WC14493
    Right front wheel cylinder: WC14494
    Left rear wheel cylinder WC7563
    Right rear wheel cylinder WC7564

    Orange return springs: H120
    Wheel cylinder link pin: H1414
    Starwheel adjuster: H1500
    Holddown parts kit: H4049
    #1 Brake pin(2"shoes): H1108
#8 Brake pin(1"3/4 shoes) H1106 - is also part of the H4049 kit
Starwheel spring(black spring): We have that made for us.

    Brake shoes 2": 340PG Raybestos
    Z340 Wagner

    Front inner wheel bearing: 15118
    Front outer wheel bearing: 09074
    Front wheel seal: 48-1190
    471316 National

    Rear bearing: 68-1225
    Rear seal: B-1175
    Rear clip: B-1180

Front brake hose 1/4" steel line: BH4497 - 16.5 long
Front brake hose 3/16 steel line: BH36664 - 18" long
Front brake hose 3/16 steel line: BH36501 - 21" long

I think this takes care of the majority of the stuff.
I don't frequent the forum too much, so if you have a specific question or have an issue
with our brakes, feel free to give us a call or email.

What car, truck, year, etc. Do these parts fit?

  3. This is awesome. Thank you Mike for the part number list. Any recomendations on set up and brake in with the upper piviot bolt to make sure everything lines up? Also what master cyclinder have you found works the best and hard line size? Are you using a residuale valve or adjustable porportioning valve.

They are the late 30’s through mid 40’s Lincoln style brakes made for early Ford upgrades.

    Thanks Boling!

Ron, the brake shoe centering procedure should get you set up. I'll attach it below. After that, drive it and bed in the shoes and do whatever final adjustments. The hot rod chassis gets proportioning and residual valves, but on our Model A kits, we leave them out. It wouldn't hurt to include them. I can't narrow it down to one specific master cylinder. There are a few good options out there, and also depending on the configuration of the brake system.

    Brake shoe centering:
After installing the hubs and drums, you will need to perform the centering procedure to ensure even brake shoe contact on the brake drum. Loosen the nut on the anchor pin. Adjust the star wheel until the brake shoes are tight against the drums. The pin will center itself in the backing plate. Check for any binding in the anchor pin that may cause misalignment when the anchor pin nut is tightened. Tighten the anchor pin nut to 80lbs-ft. Loosen the star wheel adjuster for proper brake clearance. There should be a slight drag.

Noted he said 1/4 line forward. Then 3/16 line left to right. Several OEM s are set that way. For years we have used only 3/16 from master to wheel cylinders. Wonder how much difference this makes.

  7. Thank you for taking the time to answer all my questions. This really helps alot on the your front brakes that are on my coupe.
