I'm going to Sacramento on nov 6th for a training cl*** on some new ultrasound machines and wondering if there is anything cool I can see while there. I'll actually be in Rancho Cordova @ the La Quinta Inn. Any tips would be welcome, don't want to spend evenings just watching tv. THanks
Vintage Ford is always something to check if you are new in town. That is about 2 blocks from the La Quinta. I think they are having an international car show at Cal Expo this weekend. Other than that, I really don't know what else is going on.
Don't know of any car-related happenings but there's a show at Marilyn's on the 8th ("Stars and Garters ******** honkytonk") and on the 9th my g-friends roller derby league is mudwrestling in Roseville (shameless plug, sorry). It's not much, but it beats watching cable in your hotel room.
If you don't go to the roller-derby girls mudwrastlin' (which it good times, I know a few hot ladies that will be gettin' dirty), you should check out Knuckel Dragger at the Blue Lamp on the 9th. It's probably 20 miles from your hotel...you can just Mapquest the address: 1400 Alhambra Blvd Sacramento, CA 95816 You can also check out Blue Collar Customs (close to your hotel) and the Towe Ford Auto museum which is closer to downtown. If I think of anything else, I'll post it for ya. Bryan
Thanks everyone! 2 weeks ago I was stuck in Danvers M***. with no car or internet, so this time I'll have some fun!
