It's about as "cartoon" as a car can get while still being BA. Meant as a huge compliment.

    Thanks, fellas.
After driving the Tudor last year, I corrected some bugs during the winter:

    1) Reduced caster from 8* to 6*.

It still tracks thumb-&-1-finger-on-the-wheel straight at 90, but slow-speed turns are waaaay easier.

    2) Raised the back ~1/2" so the tires no longer rub the quarters....

.....which required similarly raising the front to retain what limited forward visibility I had.

    3) Fixed a leaky rearend pinion.

Achieving ~20 in-lbs bearing preload took a 4 ft "cheater pipe" to tighten the pinion nut.

    4) My beloved bride got me a fire extinguisher for Christmas.

    5) Finally, I red loc***ed a bunch of ch***is & engine fasteners.

Now it's time to drive some more.:)

When you build a whole entire car out of basically nothing, you might have to fine tune a few things.

Love that little car, you did a hell of a job.

  18. Looks great. Now do us all a favor and go boil those hides at your local drag strip. Please.

    Gary,
That "fine tuning" is just part of the fun! Great looking ride.
