    It's a New Zealand car and I see it at the occasional show and don't now the owner. It also has 36 bumpers and is chopped. JW

  2. Please forgive my ignorance on the plate, I wouldn’t have guessed it was chopped. Those are the subtle changes that make a killer ride. Camera angle has a lot to do with things too.

  3. Certainly the first year Ford in my mind that doesn’t look good without it’s fenders, which makes it more conducive to a cruiser than a hot rod. Maybe some examples will show up to prove us wrong.

    A bit too street roddy for me. I know it won AMBR and Troy builds incredible cars but it's not my thing.

    Im not.

    Its truly stunning, (I saw it at the show in January and can see why it won) and yep it is AMBR 2025, but the black 36 roadster on page one excites me more.

    I may be biased but I will go with my dad's cabriolet since I have a lot of blood, sweat, and tears helping him put it back together.

    This is where I find placing labels on others' cars funny and everyone has their own opinion.

    The 36 roadster I originated this thread with has a hot rod rake, big rear tires, and a dual-quad big block. That's not a hot rod, and doesn't look good? If it was a 32 or 40, I bet you'd call it a cool hot rod. I think that speaks to the elegance of the design of these cars.

    I see a lot of good looking hot rods in this thread, but that's just my opinion.

    As for the tail-dragging stance, it doesn't look good when my dog does it and I don't like it on most cars. :p

    Then why did you say "Tail-dragging"? :rolleyes:

  17. Cause gassers = goofy looking
    Taildraggers = cool
