Angie and Matt Hopkins come from Murray Kentucky, they are part of the Bowling Green crew. Her truck is off topic, but it is one of the nicest Chevy pickups anywhere. The folks in attendance did the voting, and she won best paint, and got the trophy that @Bandit Billy made, with the polished gun. Before the end of the night last night, Angie said that she was gonna write her name on the trophy along with "2025" and bring it back next year so that somebody else can win it. Those were awesome trophies, you should have seen em.

  6. im tempted to do the same with mine but its so beautiful id be sad to let it go!
it was great meeting you too, despite my girlfriends rocky first interaction with you shes happy to have talked it out and is very excited to see you again next time.

  7. This makes me feel good knowing where that Old Torch will for a while. Some back story on it. That fine unit was bought New by my Dad. He was a multi-talented fix everything guy. As I grew up, I seen what it could do and learned pretty well. As my Dad aged out that torch continued to earn it's keep in my hands. As time went on rebuild and ware parts disappeared. Last time I used it the acetylene turn valve leaked enough (had been for a while) to light up in my hand again. That's when I retired it and hung it on the wall. That was about 1975 and a new Victor Journeyman took its place. B-B and I was talking one day about making some trophy's and for whatever reason I handed it over. I guess it was meant to be and Odd as it may seem The_Cat_Of_All_Ages and I have a bit in common. I bought my first 1957 Ford in 1960. She was a sweetheart 500 Hardtop. I have always had at least One and often more 57's since. Here are photos of 2 of the 4 I currently own. The Black Hardtop has made more progress since this photo. The photo of my Convert is of it on the way for a new exhaust system. It too has made more progress. I can also tell you that Torch has left its mark on both of these as well as my right hand and up my arm. You should have seen it prior to B-B doing his detail job on it, had I known it could look so good it would be in My Trophy room gathering dust. I'm very please it was passed on and landed with a 57 Ford owner.
P.S. Do not hook it up to a pair of tanks unless you are waring some asbestos arm wraps.

Crazies? Man, nobody even stole the sign! Everybody that knows me, knows that I would've stolen the sign out by the road lmao! I'm gonna have to corrupt Chandler a little more i guess

I’ll try to be there next year. If it happens wasn’t me. That’s a year premeditated.

Next year we'll go bigger man! The fire department got a grant to redo the park, something like a half million or something, so that'll be nicer, and I'm gonna invest in one of those inflatable movie screens and a projector. Thank you for making the trip and being a 3 year veteran

We're in Frankfort for a few days. Going to drive '40 Ford, Moonshiner, and visit some Distilleries. First stop, Buffalo Trace. Oh, I found my 10mm socket, knew I had one.
Something pretty good happened as I pulled on to 64. I got a phone call from my little Brother. Last time I saw/talked to him was at Mom's funeral in 2005. He, for some reason, had disowned all his siblings. We talked the whole way to Frankfort. Hopefully, we'll make up for lost time.
Anyway, as in years past, we enjoyed Lloydfest III. Good to see old friends and meet new ones. Ron

  26. You and me both. It is a classy ride. Thanks for bringing all the magazines to thumb thru. I now have a little reading to do.
We just got home at 8:50 pm We took our time and stopped for supper.

Ogre! Man it was awesome to meet you and Kris, thank you a bunch for making it down here!

  28. This was the best Lloydfest yet!! Like a bottle of fine Kentucky Bourbon, Lloydfest gets better each year!! We made it home about 8:15 or so Central Time. Thank you to my Brother Lloyd for putting this on. It’s hands down my favorite event of the year!! Next is Bowling Green. Thank you Steve @chevy57dude for the great Holley 1850, it’s going on on Papaw as soon as I get a free minute, but I have a feeling we will be busting ass on Little Truckdoctor’s 51 Ford. He is super excited about working on it. His goal is to drive it to Bowling Green and Lloydfest 4. Thank you to everyone who came and talked to Chandler about his Ford. He is super inspired by you guys. Thanks to @CycleTech for the fantastic Keilbasy sticks, they were very good!

  29. Is it OK to say I already miss you guys? Chris and I didnt want to leave today. Can we do a week next year?

Sorry I missed you before you left Tim!!! Glad to see Randy made it back home. Hope the Cat and Sophie are home safe and sound.

Now to get some work done on this hot rod.

  30. "let me tell ya a short story" about a gentle giant who wont shut the F up. Love Ya buddy!!!!
