But you're correct, that tow bill for a couple of hundred miles wouldn't be very enjoyable lol

I would love to have the differential, I'm afraid the shipping would be prohibitive though. :(

Lloyd could probably store it for you, then you could pick it up when you come to Lloydfest 4 next year... (says the guy that has only made it to the first one:rolleyes:).

    Lloyd and Dick,

If you want to wait until this time next year I can transport it to Columbia Missouri and surly we can get it to Nebraska from Columbia.

Lol that's from another thread. All good man. I emailed them after you sent the pm. I'll call tmrw. If they say 6 to 10 weeks, I'll just get my money back and go another route. I have an 8.8.

Do they make you run C clip eliminators on those 8.8 rears at the track if you run slicks?

But in all honesty, I'm probably better off to just wait. Shouldn't have torn the car apart in front of one of my garage doors huh

I had it from the time I brought the car home, but they make me nauseous. So like I said, I'm gonna call tmrw, but i think I'll stay the course. If they send the housing and axles, at least I'll can get the car rolling again

I have an 8.8. Had to replace an axle because the axle bearings don't have inner races, they just ride directly on the axle. Bearing ate into the axle about 1/8th of an inch. Kinda suckey engineering in my opinion.

I hear what you are saying. That rear end just doesn't look right under a old car in my book.

The only problem with the 9.3 is that there's only one game in town for the parts and pieces, and they know it. If it wasn't for that, they'd be alot more affordable.

I did not know that, but then, I've made it through an entire lifetime without being bitten by the Chevy bug. FORD, the finest examples of automotive perfection.;)

We lucked into some axles and a spool third member just had to change the gears and shorten a different housing for my car.
