ebay and swap meets are all p***é. I'd rather go to an Oklahoma **** fight to see that much trailer trash.
Nobody has mentioned all the work gone into converting the 21 inch model A wheels to 16 inches. Would they be true ?
Kinda off the topic about what it's worth and I'm no deuce expert, but it has suicide doorst with a slant; weren't 32 doors straight up and down? I know the hinges can be reversed on anything...with no ***le, proving the year and getting it registered my be tough too... Looks more like a '33 or '34 which ain't bad, but advertised as a deuce isn't good. 51FourDoor
Maybe He'll Trade You Foryour? He Has Lotsa . Lotsa Cars And A Place To Store Them His Photo List At The Local Swaps Is Huge .... Ahh .. Minnesota The Home For Orphan Deuce's Paperdog
and garnish moldings, stock dash with glovebox door, there's a lot of little stuff there that guys would kill for, but yeah, like everybody else said, not almost 30 grand worth.
In 10 years 30K for that car will be a deal. If a guy has the $$ & talent, & time to wait it out.... A good body man could work that roof back out fairly quickly. 40 hours at night & on the weekends, with the proper tools & skill, would go a LONG way. I'm just a hack... but wouldn't be afraid of that roof. Noticed the term "Henry Ford Steel" that is popping up in Deuce descriptions lately? Sure, a Brookville is cheaper in the long run but it'll never be a "Henry" Ford. To some who care, & can afford the Henry original, that matters. Hell, it matters to some of us who can't afford it. Man ... what a DEAL ... a 1932 Ford disguised as a Model A http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...soo%3D1&fcl=3&frpp=50&fvi=1&item=320044714599

JH[/quote] 40 or 50 years from now will people be debating if a car is "Henry steel" or a Brookville? Don't know a probably will not care.
It was at Charlotte NC GG event last weekend ... Read the windshield ... 20 grand ... make offer ... last weekend eBay strikes again
Its not even street legal. Damn I woulda bought it right then. Ahh man I left that $50k in my other pants. My girlfriend musta washed them. Oh well.
really. all things considered, that body looks pretty damn nice. a weeks worth of metalwork, or possibly several hundred dollars in brookville parts and you're on your way.
I agree! I'd cut the rear window area out, fix it and weld it back in if I couldn't just buy the section from Brookville. Fixable definitely, just a bit spendy start in 2006.
For a few years now. Used to be "real steel." Then the steel reproductions came out, and steel isn't good enough of a description for the man with a tattoo on his head. Everyone I've met who uses the term "henry ford steel" lives in a trailer, and has a confederate flag on their dodge pickup.
my quess is that he doesnt really want to sell it. Probably put it up on ebay to appease the old lady who said "you gotta get rid of some of the **** around here"
Whats wrong with that? Wait a minute.................... OH I see the humor. Your making fun of people like me AHEM them.
