Time to sell my 59 Ford. It started life as a factory 4x4 f250 long bed with a yblock. At some time in it's life it was cut down to a short bed and the pto winch set up was added to the bed. I don't know if it was used as a wrecker or for pulling logs, but it's beefy. They reinforced the frame to handle the load. It currently has a 352 Ford FE in it with a granny low 4 speed and is still hooked up to the factory ****er 24 divorced transfer case. Sometime they swapped the 3/4 ton axles for 1/2 ton which appear to be from an early bronco? Front is a closed knuckle Dana 44 and the rear is a 9in. 4.10 gears. I have taken both apart and installed with new seals and bushings. It has a complete new brake system with all new lines. The clutch master, slave cylinder and lines were replaced as well. I don't know the details on the engine but I opened it up and everything is super clean. It has solid lifters and an FT oil pan. New water pump, fuel pump, etc. plus switched over to a gm 1 wire alternator. Motor runs strong and can keep up with KC traffic. I've also had the trans out and replaced all the seals. As for the body, I feel like it's perfect how it is. It has a few coats of paint and some really old bondo. I didn't touch the outside besides cleaning it up, but the whole underside has been cleaned and undercoated. There is minimal rust. I replaced the front cab supports and patched the floor. The floor then got sound deadening, insulation and a rubber mat. It has new gl*** in the doors and back along with new felt. This truck can be enjoyed as is or you could swap the drive train and take it to the next level. At $15k, there is money to be made. I have more pics, just ask.
Here's some more pics or you can look me up on Instagram at landshipgarage. I have a video posted over there.
