    does anybody reline them?

i seem to remember a year or two ago, i saw a pair at the machine shop getting turned. i asked the guy operating the brake lathe if they were new, he said as good as new, the customer had them relined

Good to know. I have a pair of nice ones, but they're over spec.

Let us know what that relining costs when you get the bid. Then we can know how to price our original drums. ;)

Without knowing anything, I'll guess $200-$300 per drum.

Speedway sells new ones. They have an ad with them being used with 40 hubs and Lincoln plates. That leaves 1/2 " of the shoe not covered. If they are stock dimensions the lip can be machined and the center hole opens up. They are I think $300 plus ride and tax ea.

I believe boling brothers sell them also.

I have four that I've already removed the buick hubs from in anticipation of using Ford hubs up front and adapting the other two to a nine inch in the rear.

I have a friend who needs a pair for his Invicta so they need to be stock with hubs
