    20250920_094510.jpg Drove our 29 A to a Car show/ swap meet 190 miles away today. Had to stop for gas twice on the way.
    Unfortunately, rained almost all day. Did find this great book at swap though. Might have to revert to an economy rod to afford the gas....and more car parts. 20250920_080942.jpg

  3. I like those old Peterson books. The one caption on the cover reminds of a car I saw during the live feed of Drag Week 2025 yesterday. Diesel swapped in to a Chevette, but likely not for the same reason.

    Boy howdy those gas stops for 190 miles remind me of a guy with a T bucket that ran with a bunch of guy who all carried a jug of gas so he would have enough gas to get to the next station back years ago. He didn't have much of a gas tank and didn't get much for gas mileage.

    I've got that annual and a few more out in the shed but think they are in pretty rough shape now.
