Personally I think the 1939 Deluxe has the best looking grille, is that a total package, fenders, grille and hood, that you would have to swap on to a 1940? Thank you.

  3. I’m looking at a ‘40 Standard sedan. One thing I noticed, while sitting in it, was the whole dash is one color. I like the look of the maroon and gold, was that a deluxe/standard thing?

Side note, one door has a standard garnish molding and the other has a deluxe, so we know it’s not all original. IMG_0549.jpeg

The DeLuxe dash looks like this: The last photo is of Standard Speedometer.
The white steering wheel is a Ford Crestliner.
Also, your heater doesn't look like the 1940 Ford water heater.

Has anyone used the 40 standard front bumper brackets on the front of a 40 deluxe?
I think the bumpers are the same.
I would like to pull the front bumper in a little and I understand the standard brackets are shorter.
