Hershey Swap Meet is October 6 - 10, 2025 I'll be at my same spots C4J 41 & 42 stop by and say hello. Leave your heavy parts and pick them up at the end of the day. Ted Mark and Ronnieroadster are next door. Lots of Ford Flathead stuff this year all sales help fund the TIG WELDER purchase. Bob
Of course I'm going, this will be my 57th year, started in 1968. If you are an A.A.C.A. member they just announced that if you want to be a vendor you can purchase a flea market spot at the show, first time that has been offered. You can check out the requirements on the A.A.C.A. site.
I'm going as well. My buddy Shemp and I will be in Orange field OBG 23-25. Stop by. A lot of flathead parts; especially transmission stuff. I'll be 55 in Dec and this will be my 45th year.
CI 34-36 are my spaces. South side of Chocolate field. I don't have much hot rod stuff, but I have old car stuff.
$135 a space 10x30 for 3 days. I know it looks like 4 on paper but the last day is slow. Needing a PA tax number is the worst part if you do not have one. Not a big deal after you have it though.
Plan of arriving Tuesday afternoon and leaving Friday evening. Looking forward to lunch and shopping with 5 window (Jeff). Will try to visit the spaces listed in posts on here. Always good to see some HAMB members and stop by the National Woodie Club's tent to sit and enjoy a bottle of water. Jim
I'll be there taking The Hot Rod Grill to lunch. We've both survived life-threatening events so we'll be happy to tempt fate with a Hershey hamburger.
Will be in CI 37-38 Tuesday to Thursday with some HAMB friendly parts. If not there will be out looking for some more parts I don't need. MantuaJohn
Was going to go, but decided to go to TROG instead for the first time. Still need a Wide Five Rim (Kelsey Hayes 15x6) to match the one I got last time I was there in 2023.
me and @brjnelson will be there Tuesday and Wednesday adding to our step count. Were newbies this will be first time for both.
I be there Monday morning ready to go. Can feel the tightness in my legs already from walking from 8 to 4.
Really? Hmmm…Supposed to be a 9.25 hr drive to Wildwood, but in the past it took me 8 hrs from Hershey to get home. Might be a plan. Thanks!
First time spaces have ever been sold as the event begins? I wasn’t born until 1956, the first few years there was probably no space fee. Enterprising folks sold parts out of their free parking space near the stadium. Later they were herded over to the road leading to the stadium. This change indicates there is some sentiment within the Region that changes are necessary to keep the swap meet fields populated. Perhaps a reduction in the space fee might help. This is like the “self-licking ice cream cone”- less vendors leads directly to less spectators, which leads to less vendors, repeat. The only constant is the fact that HERCO will regularly raise the parking fee- already excessive. The Region gets none of it. It’s easy to criticize the event and forecast its demise. Instead, join the Club, get some spaces, sell your unwanted parts. It’s your hobby, right? See you there.
They need to stop making you be part of the club to be a vendor which is still in effect. I am a vendor at Carlisle but never did hershey for that reason. Also need one day tailgating spots. There are plenty of room to make a section. It would be packed every morning and bring some excitement.
First time I will miss Hershey in a long time!! We are heading out that Tuesday for the Gathering at the Rock.
If you want that contact Hershey Region AACA. The flea market is not the real priority of AACA meets, the car show is. It is just Hershey that exploded into the biggest flea market in the US. But it's in trouble, which is a much too long of a story for here. Hershey region controls the flea market and National AACA handles the show. They tried a non club car corral last year and I think it was a bust. Most put high prices on their cars and used it as parking trolling for a sucker.
Just booked 6-7 Oct in Hershey. Will be at TROG 4-5 Oct. Maybe next year will make it to The Gathering at the Roc.
My first year at a Hershey was 1972 . my buddy and I filled his truck cap with choice sheetmetal for our 30 and my 32 fords hot rods . so full we had to sleep in the cab last nite . Drove both rods to NSRA nats in Tulsa the next year from Ohio . Sooo SAD to say at 79 years old will miss it this year for family commitments . NEXT YEAR FOR SURE .
