Hi it's been a while since I've been in here, I'm looking for advice or someone that has the answers that has done what I'm looking to do. I have a friend with a 36 Chevy Street rod, built about 30 years ago. He wants to add AC to it as he has throat cancer and has the tracheostomy Hole and can't use his vent windows. Anyway, it's a done driving car and it has a Camaro TPI 350 in it. I'm looking to complete package system. Surely this is doable. Has anyone in here done it? Can you help me with a parts list? The car does have heat already.

It certainly can be done and needs to be done by a shop that has experience doing it. Installing one in an "already built" car is harder than installing it in a new build. Call Vintage Air and ask them for names of reputable dealers in your area. That way, your friend gets a well installed system with a minimum of hassles.
