See it's a funny thing. Years back i belonged to the NSRA, and they provided a "phone book" called the "fellow pages". Listed by state and city of my memory is correct. If you had car problems, those folks that agreed to have their number listed would come help out. I have said that we need something like that here. I save every number of my hot rodder friends. My memory tells me that at one time, something like this was started here on the HAMB. It was several years ago, maybe 10 or more years ago. Seems like it got off to a pretty good start, then it pretty much vanished.
Keeping such a list up to date would be a full time job considering how many people come and go around here.

Back in thevearly 2000s we had a list of fellow HAMBers just like you describe.
