It’s been a while since I have owned a car that I could do just that and do it right (John Force style) but I have one in the mix I’ll be bringing out later this fall:D

Met her a few years ago at an indoor show in Timonium, Maryland. Still a sweet lady and still quite attractive. I'm sure she's been asked a million times to feel someone's tuck and roll, ad nauseum.

Where's the crowd who frowns upon such behavior? It's always fun when they chime in, lol. Guess I'm just not that mature. It's fun to twist a tire now and then!

    Okay I’ll step up LOL.:D:D:p

Did you know that whenever you do a burnout once the tire starts to smoke you lose approximately 80 miles of tread life for every revolution. I had a tire rep tell me that years ago when I used to hang out at RHS in Memphis when it was a small speed shop.

While sitting around having beers Chuck Beck summed up the building process. If the tires are smoking you need wider ones - if they aren't smoking you need a bigger engine.

Mine are very near the wear bars so I've been a good boy this year, trying to make it through the season. Maybe Santa will bring me new ones.

Around about 25 years ago when I drove my 1950 Ford 2dr sedan as a daily, I was at a co-workers house for a 4th of July party. We decided to go watch some fireworks, so a group of us got in my '50. Co-worker says "Peel out". Oh, by the way, co-worker's name was/is Debbie, blond and just as pretty as Candy Clark. No, I didn't peel out, stock transmissions didn't hold up very well behind my "Built Flathead." In the 80k miles I put on that car, I had to build 12 transmissions for it and replace one axle shaft.. I drove that car and I drove it hard.
Anyway, for the rest of the story. . .Debbie sat next to me in the front seat so her child could be in the seat belt. Her husband and someone else sat in the back seat. A few people wondered about the seating arrangement. Lol.
I did get to meet Candy at an indoor car show and she signed my 1/18 scale AG '58 Chevy just like what is shown above.

They're M/T ET Streets, I had bumped them up to 25 psi to try and get a better pattern out of them.

Had my 57 GMC out yesterday running errands and still sorting things out after just getting it back on the road… pulled a pretty good rolling burnout… almost in front of my house. Don’t wanna take any chances yet on breaking anything and having to get the old truck towed home.

Any photos of the truck ? A 57 GMC was the first of many 55-59's I've owned and also what I was looking for before buying my current 57 chevy.
This shadow could be a "peel out" if you squint hard enough. Lol

…well, I don’t really care much about going fast anymore, never have been a fan of brake torque burnouts…however, I really love love being able to roll into an automatic and haze them from a roll. Just love it!
