Technical Rumble Lid I.D. (Please and thank you).

    Came across what appears to be a rumble deck lid based on the hinge having an extra leg, presumably for a counter-balance spring; should make it easier to identify. Thinking possibly '31 Pontiac, but not 100% sure.

    Dodge never had wood frame work.

    I would think the hinge brackets would be the dead giveaway. Oakland possibly? Some Chevy's had wood; some didn't, depending who made the lid (Chevrolet / Fisher) but the similar ones I've researched had a raised lip on the edge near the back window area.

    More important than the style of hinge is the position. Whether it's at the front or the rear... if the front and rear can be determined. Also, the pivot point not positioned at the very end of the panel, I'd say tells us it's definitely a rumble lid.
    I don't know about a Dodge having no wooden frame for the deck lid. Even though Chrysler Dodge and Plymouth were known for having very little wood in the bodies, my 1931 Plymouth deck lid frame is surprisingly all wood.
