Looking for an NOS Mercury camshaft for 1949 - 1950 or 1CM '51 -'53 will work fine. No reground cam's. Thank you so much for checking. Bob Stanley

Explain the 1st best way to determine 8BA vs 59A, I have a couple good (and 1 new I think) flathead cams.

 

8BA (or 8CM,1CM,EAB) has a distributor drive gear on the front of the cam, 59A doesn't.
