  3. PXL_20251002_170947961.jpg Arrived without incident. Perfect weather for the whole weekend. Mid 80s no rain. We are set up.
Some of the things going on and why I haven't been posting. New car stands were made front and rear. They have a wide base. We were at a few tracks this year that had pit areas that were rough. The front stands almost fell over. A guy goes under the car after each pass to do a under car inspection and wipe down. We can't have stands falling over. These are heavy duty.
My crew guy was getting burned removing the oil. It was making a mess bringing it to the oil dump location.
A oil pan was made with high sides. It's tapered to drain. It has a magnet to hold the wrench. It has a large drain PXL_20251002_170953795.jpg plug. It's on wheels and has a handle. The handle slides in and out. It's like rolling a piece of luggage. It was a lot of work to make. My crew guy Jerry made them. The same guy that made the wheel tubs.
We have the data logger hooked up for this weekend. Finally.
We are using the radios for the first time to

Jerry done a fantastic job on the stands and drain pan looks like top notch stuff by that is how Jerry does stuff wish I could be there but I just couldn’t swing it this time good luck I’m hoping for another win tell everyone hi for me

  8. Your crew guy did a sweet job on those stands and oil pan; have fun this weekend. Looking forward to the updates.

  9. The stands are made out of schedule 40 material. That's about a eighth thick. They lift the car high enough so we can pull the pan and change bearings. We are going to make a tray next to hold the tools to change bearings.
