Event Coverage 2025 Jalopyrama Tribute Show; my pics

Congratulations to @Scooterville and the Colonial Rodders Car Club for hosting a great inaugural Jalopyrama Tribute show!

Early Friday morning, I wiped rainex on the sedan's windshield and motored around DC to Easton, MD on the eastern shore.


A bunch of us caravanned to a private collection in Cambridge, MD. I followed @chevy57dude .

 

That afternoon, we packed 32 cars into the Easton Firehouse.

 

Saturday's show had lots of well-built rods & customs, both inside...

 

....and outdoors.

I also got to chat with @Ed95 and @lothiandon1940 .

 

The drive home was uneventful. I followed @Irishjr 's chopped & channeled '40 as far as Kent Island.


Despite heavy beltway traffic, I got 17.1 mpg and the temp gauge rarely left 190*F.

Now I'm looking forward to next year!

I’ll have more videos to come. This one is pretty much the same one that was playing on a loop at the show minus the list of beneficiaries.

 

Awesome show and coverage @Just Gary...and a great outing for what you built your ride for...it's pretty cool that there is such a large contingent of Hambers too.

...I was kinda wishin' and hoping that I might see your great little Roadster in person. Guess you may have gone to what, the the event at Summerduck? Hope to see it at some point in the future....Don.

Yep, took it to the more local event. It’s got drag racing and a good swap meet too…I’m a sucker for a swap meet I thought ONSI was the same weekend, didn’t realize it was the week before until I’d already made plans. Next year…

 

...That Old North State Invitational is on my bucket list. Looks to be a really great event.

Thanks Gary, Scott, and everyone for sharing. I always loved the Jalopyramas. You guys are great driving in that D.C., and bay bridge traffic. At my age, I'd better just drive on these old country roads. lol
