Technical 53-54 fuel tank in a 49-52?

Gents,

Will a tank from a ‘53-‘54 Chevy fit in a’49-‘52? I’m not worried about the fuel filler inlet lining up, just wondering if it will bolt into the same location in the floor. I have an opportunity to snag a nice tank relatively inexpensively.

Should bolt up if willing to change neck. How cheap is the tank you're looking at?

 

120 for a Tanks brand tank. I am going to re-rout the filler neck regardless so as long as it physically bolts into the same location I’m a happy boy. Thanks for the response
