How about some pics of model A fords made up to resemble 32 fords. 3w coupe mods, roofs without visors. Deuce rails and gas tanks. I am just looking for some ideas to build a car with stuff I have laying around.

Yes, thats the car,Beautiful piece of rolling art. I am hopping to make a lowbrow version, with a lot more of a race car influence. Kinda like the wade coupe meets deaths doorstep. Im thinking about flush doors with 32 handles, 32 firewall, set back under the cowl, complete 32 roof from belt line up, 0n a very altered 32 frame. Any other pics of model a to 32 work that has been done , would be appreciated.

Don't know if you saw this, on the 3W conversions thread? Meant to be a Vicky cowl and doors on a coupe body.

I sorta 32-ized my '31 Ford Slantwindow 4 door turned Sedan Delivery.
-Rolled/rounded roof over the windshield and rounded the corners of the windshield frame.

-Welded 1-1/4 inch strips of metal over the 2-line beltline of the Model A to make it more like a '32.

-Chopped it 3" in front and 3-1/2 in the rear and leaned the A pillars slightly farther back.

-Built a flat "32 like" firewall.

-Welded in a '32 Ford cowl vent.

    - '32 commercial grille shell

I originally built it on a Model A frame and ran it for a year. I later bought a set of ASC '32 frame rails and added/grafted them from the cowl back to give it a more '32 look...so it actually had 2 frames under it. 0.63.jpg 0.69.jpg 0.67.jpg 0.65.jpg 0.66.jpg 0.64.jpg 0.68.jpg
