i think the cut-off lower grille bar in front is pretty funny...

would be interessted in seeing its suspension set-up and to see it actually move under its own power...

that is just fucking rediculous. it's the damn "mini-trucker mentality" again. and i mean no offense to mini-truckers either, i was one, but alot of them go TOO FAR just like someone did with this car. looks like osme nice work otherwise too. too bad it's ruined.

The '49 looks like it's sinking in quicksand.

  11. one way to get rid of rusted out rocker panels. Besides, in that position, and at that height, it could be driven to NY from Cali., just ask the owner. Don't see much difference between this and some of the so-called rat/trad rods showing up all over. Don't ya know, low's the way to go.

It's actually sitting on Quickfloor, a byproduct of the concrete industry closely related to quick sand.

Not a big fan of the idea, but I think the roof makes it look way too goofy. So does the lack of a rear bumper. I hope when he got the body the part that he cut off was so rusted it was rendered hopeless.

Haha, terrarodder's post reminded me of the whole "Bags are for fags" thing.

That's just stupid. It looks like an RC car body without the chassis under it.

I remember seeing a small piece about this car on Rides. It does run, and they showed him cruisin the 309 but it look super gay raised up to ride height. Interior was biege leather if i'm thinkin right. It's just supe channeled. When the guy bought it was half sung into a field somewhere and instead of usin patch panels he did that. Oh well at least he saved a dieing car rather than crush it, even if it looks like dog ass.

  23. Sorry, stupid! Kinda mocks the die hards if you ask me. But that's just me. Maybe it was really rusty around the bottom, a swamp find kinda thing and they only had a week to finish it? (no offense overhaulin' I love you guys and what you do.)
Love the '56 'mad, don't change a thing, "you look Ma'velous!"

  24. I agree.

a waste of what could have been a really nice car.

Not my words but I wish they were "Looks like somebody put that thing through the sawmill."

    Horrible and unexcuseably bad.

And that bulge along the top of the rear quarter to allow for the tire?

Hmmm... on our next car, we're gonna try to get the ENTIRE CAR under the scrub line!
