So @PINEAPPLE there are a couple odd pics that you shared and I think they were from inside where the former tail lights were...here's a nice one from that R & C...

I tried to search out that 1957 shot with the Lakes Headers and it connected to a FB page but couldn't find the post...note its a bigger image...any of you Hamb detectives think you can find why or how this image is connected to the Princeton Site?

It has California plates but could it have had an Illinois connection?

@Stogy , thats the one from the hardcover book, 50 years of rod n custom, correct? I bought that book and the little pages version on ebay just to have in my collection. I dont have a facebook account but my wife does, I never thought of digging around on there. I found the photo of the caddy engine version on this Fotki page of 32 fords that belonged to a guy called loudpedal. Not Kris Elmer though. I will put a link in later tonight so folks can check it out. Loads of great photos in there. I think it migrated to the midwest at some point after the R and C days..
    Thanks for looking around buddy!

I'm not sure it could very well be, it was posted on a site I will and should add as it is someone commenting on the timing of the R & C article images versus the month it was put on the shelves...link is below and I put it in the post above where that rear 3/4 view is...

Some FB accounts are public clic and try is what I do...but I was hoping to see that post as it may have shed some light on who and where...

That may have been some magazine juice on those measurements. I came up with more than 12" of channel, likely closer to 10" , as for the roof, I need to measure a stock one to figure that out. I have a photo of me and @h.i. sitting in it when we put it away. I will find that and post it.

heres a few pics of when we got it home. we were scraping paint looking for golden sand, see pic.. dunno if thats just rust or old paint. there is no old colors on the outside of the body, they must have stripped it. Inside and in the rocker areas, there were multiple paint jobs present.
