Nice job on the panel fit. Those hoods are usually a fight until you just get it close enough and live with it.

They have done a great job on the hood (it was way out when I got it, particularly on the side gaps and trim alignment). The nose of the hood was off to the left when looking at the front of the car and the handle needed a lot of pressure to close it up. They have got it bang in line now and the latch has a really good feel to it. It's amazing what a difference these little things make. I have learnt a lot from these guys along the way (not just how many hours it takes!).

Not much more to see at the moment but the primer and flatting continues (making lots of dust!).

Wow! It will be a shame to cover up all that beautiful black paint in the interior.

Wow, that looks really nice! To date, when the firewall was painted on my 40, was the best point in the build.

They certainly are. I called in today to catch up with the guys there and thank them for their great efforts so far. The next step is painting the dash, wheel and column while the paint rests a while. Then it’s back onto the chassis and cut and polish.

Those floorboards are so pretty you will have to take off your shoes when you drive it.

WHAT!!!!!!! If that gets any slicker, you will never know when the paint dries. Absolutely stunning.

Thanks guys. It’s all coming together. The body is back on the chassis now and the painter has moved on to the dash and column.
