Having my V8-60 Rebuild

Here is a sneak peek of a v8-60 that is being rebuild. Will fit in my 1949 3 point hydroplane. Will post more photo at things progress. Brian

Nice project .I live in New Hampshire when I was a kid early 60's.

 

Man, is that ever a slick lookng v860 and the boat project is to die for.
I've collected 4 of the little ******s in hopes of building one some day. I've got a pair of Edelbrock heads and a twin pot intake. I've lately concentrated on the Stromberg 81 carbs (they are a ***** to find without spending a pot of gold).
Be sure to keep us updated as you make progress. I'm expecially interested in how you do the engine. Please post specs and parts sources if you can.

Thanks Frank, I have tried to rebuild the boat and the engine like it was first build in 1949. I will post some more engine photos as things progress next week. Brian in NH
