A promise made is a debt unpaid.

I signed up when the lifetime subscriptions were first offered, the way I look at it had I been subscribing to the magazine at the yearly price when Steve had all the problems and fell on hard times, I feel like I broke even.

I feel for the guys that got in late and got just a few magazines or none at all, I understand their anger, I am still hoping Steve will get back on his feet and make good on his promises, especially the guys overseas. HRP

For each person that complains about TRJ on the HAMB, there are at least another 100 screwed TRJ subscribers. A lot of people have just given up or do not write in forums or are not part of on-line groups. Poor, poor Steve, we need to be patient...Poor poor Steve, he moved...the printer lost the original... the post offices lost the magazines....he's working on the past next or the last, he can't answer your emails or phone calls. Excuses again and again and again and again. At some point, people loose their patience.

Why not just close this thread. What has been said has been said over and over. I wish him well in his endeavors and I wish the others closure.

If it's closed, sooner or later someone will just start another one. May as well keep it all in one place.

Just seems that way. No one can deny the quality and value of the publication, but everything e;se is sub-sub par

  12. I received an email response today 4 months after the "where's my stuff" email request from TRJ.
The email albeit addressing me by a completely different name (my full name and detail were in the email) stated
my missing issues will be shipped to me this week and 87 is printed and will be shipped following in a few weeks after.

    4 months...???
Must be a leak somewhere. Sounds like there's water in the email pipe between the US and Oz.:confused:o_O

If you can manage to get on to the new website you will see that they are taking new suscriptions for you to get four magazines delivered each year. I don't think there have been four in the last half decade.

If you get on to the site, hit the 'contact us' tab. The statement at the top of the contact page is good for a laugh.

I know what’s happening at TRJ.

they’re waiting for enough new subscribers to cough up the hard earnt, so they can settle the account with the printer, then they’ll wait until they’ve got enough money to send them out.

    mystery solved.

prove otherwise - wrong answers only.

If our emails with the suggested subject matter won’t elicit a response, then a tongue in cheek post may finally get one.

I want to support TRJ I really do, but like many others, we’re running out of patience, and building up a feeling of doom and gloom about the possibility of it finally climbing out of the hole it peered out of a couple of years ago . ☹️

I have issue 86, #87 never did show up here in Canada.
I’m not sure if it ever will now.
I’m still here, maybe my lifetime membership is over ?
Has there been any talk of Issue #88 anywhere ?

Your lifetime membership is not over. Send them an email. They previously had a hard time responding to all the emails but they should be able to reply in a timely matter now.

  27. Just to add to this thread and offer some hope to other subscribers I received a reply to the Where's My Stuff email about my missing issues from my lifetime subscription and received everything I was owed 3 weeks later in the mail.
Send an Email or one a week as I did. eventually, you'll get a response.

Well just to add to the drama for readers in Canada, we are in the middle of a mail strike.
